This one is easy.

Anyone who knows me (yes, all two of you) knows that I’m currently into JPop – that’s Japanese Pop Music. And one of my favorites is Aya Matsuura, one of Hello! Projects most talented soloists. Today just happens to be her 24th birthday!

I just can’t help smiling as I try to sing along and move to this song. Doki doki is the sound the heart makes (we would say thump thump) when we are excited. The song is fun, happy, and upbeat.

Just listen to her near the end.  She was only 14 when she recorded this, and it was her first single.  The energy and talent is amazing.
