Sebastian Hagelstein is a local 10 year old actor who is currently portraying the shy, lisping Winthrop in the national tour of The Music Man. Sebastian has performed in several productions in the Tampa area including shows at the Carrollwood Cultural Center and Carrollwood Players.

Sebastian’s mother Georgia is traveling around the country with her son. She has started a blog to record the young actor’s experiences as he completes the 80 city tour. The blog includes behind-the-scenes pictures and Georgia’s and Sebastian’s thoughts as they make a journey that most actors will never get to experience.

Sebastian has already gained local fame. His success in getting this role has been written about in the St. Pete Times.

The National Tour of The Music Man is scheduled to play at The Lakeland Center, Youkey Theatre this coming Wednesday (February 16, 2011).
