A recent graduate wants to build a long-form improvisation troupe in the St Petersburg area and is looking more for strong actors rather than people who think they are “funny.” Prefers to form an artistic improv set with strong scenes rather than just getting a cheap laugh.

You must be interested in creating an organic form and performing (eventually) in front of diverse audiences.

Double Vision Pictures, a Florida based production company, is currently casting for several short films. There is NO COMPENSATION for these films; however, they will be toured on the film festival circuit. They are also being used as promotional tools for investors for feature length films, which will offer compensation to actors. One of those features will potentially be released in theaters.

Chocolate show and charity event at Ruth Eckerd Hall this Sunday from noon to 6pm. The promoters are expecting over 1000 people at this event.

Looking for talent for a commercial entry for a competition. Tampa Bay Woman Newspaper is planning a chocolate festival and charity auction at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Sunday 1/23/11 from noon to 6pm. We are looking for volunteers/interns for the day of the event. Duties will include:

- Assisting in set up and breakdown
- Stuffing gift bags
- Working the press check in table
- Working the admissions table (taking tickets)
- Handing out samples and promotional material

This is an non paid position. Lunch will be provided at the event. This is a great opportunity to gain event experience, and work with a major womans publication. Please respond with your experience and availability.
